SITS Group moves up a tier thanks to expertise and commercial successes
Trend Micro has reaffirmed its commitment to partner SITS Group with the elevation to Gold Partner status, the first promotion of its kind for two years.
North-east-based SITS Group is an award-winning channel player with a specialist focus on cloud infrastructure and virtualisation technologies.
Trend Micro began working with SITS Group just two years ago and has been impressed with its people, its professionalism and its technical know-how, as well as the firm’s proven ability to deliver Trend Micro products.
Phil Cambers, SITS Group Commercial Director said “This is a huge achievement for us. It reflects not only the commercial success we’ve had with Trend Micro but I also think it’s recognition of our technical expertise. We don’t sell a huge range of products, we prefer to have deeper, more meaningful relationships with fewer vendors than scatter-gun our attention,” said SITS Group Commercial Director, Phil Cambers.
“Part of the reason we chose Trend Micro two years ago was its ability to seamlessly integrate with VMware. Since then we have expanded the number of products we resell from Trend Micro and in every case their products meet the very high technical expectations we have.”
Cambers also put much of the success of the partnership down to the personal links that have been forged between the two companies.
“The people are hugely important,” he emphasised. “Those at Trend Micro are some of the most professional we have ever worked with. They share very similar values to us and as such we get on very well.”
Trend Micro’s UK Head of Channel Sales, James Munro, welcomed SITS Group to its new position as Gold Partner.
“This is the first Gold partner promotion for nearly two years and they join a very select group of partners,” he said. “I’m sure anyone that has worked with SITS will agree they are a very professional outfit who are dedicated to Trend Micro and have put a great deal of commercial and technical effort into the relationship. We wish them all the best going forward.”
