VMware Positioned in the Leaders Quadrant
SITS Group has seen record VMware sales in the first half of 2010. Whilst SITS Group are agnostic and consult around other virtualisation technologies it is recognised by most industry leaders that VMware is leading the field in Virtualisation technology.
To echo this sentiment industry analysts Gartner have recently produced a Magic Quadrant document which clearly shows VMware in the hallowed top right of the quadrant.
No doubt as other technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V gains ground on VMware it is our opinion that this will in turn VMware to turn up the heat once again, so for everyone concerned this is positive situation that helps to drive the innovation of the Virtualisation marketplace.
